Overview

This website is built on the Base44 platform and uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure and improve the site. Some technologies are essential and operate automatically. Others — including analytics and advertising technologies — are only activated when you give your consent.

You can accept all non-essential technology, reject it, or review and customise your choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and other mechanisms that help websites function and measure performance. These technologies are widely used to help websites operate efficiently and securely.

Categories of technology we use

We group the technologies on this website into three categories:

  • Essential — required for the website to function, including security, session management and remembering your consent preferences. These operate automatically and cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — helps us understand how visitors use the website and measure its performance. These are disabled until you grant analytics consent.
  • Marketing — allows advertising platforms to measure campaigns, attribute enquiries and show more relevant advertising. These are disabled until you grant marketing consent.

How consent works

Before you make a choice, all analytics and advertising consent is set to “denied” using Google Consent Mode v2. This means Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel do not fire until you grant permission.

When you first visit the site, a cookie banner gives you three choices:

  • Accept all — grants both analytics and marketing consent.
  • Reject non-essential — keeps all analytics and marketing consent denied. Essential technology continues to work.
  • Review options — opens a preferences panel where you can switch analytics and marketing on or off individually.

Analytics consent grants analytics_storage only. Marketing consent grants ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization, and allows the Meta Pixel to operate.

Saving your choices immediately updates Google Consent Mode and the behaviour of all relevant tags. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future non-essential tracking but does not undo lawful processing already performed.

Your consent preference is stored for six months. After that, you will be asked to make a fresh choice.

The table below lists the technologies currently in use. Only cookies and storage technologies genuinely applicable to this implementation are listed.

Essential technologies

Essential technologies are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions made by you, such as submitting the valuation form or accessing a secure area of the site. They also include the storage of your consent preferences.

The specific cookie names and durations used by the Base44 platform are managed by the hosting provider. If more detailed information becomes available, it will be added to this policy.

Attribution and enquiry measurement

When you submit a valuation enquiry, the website records an anonymous enquiry reference. This reference is shared with our analytics and advertising partners solely to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. No name, email address, telephone number, postcode or caravan details are included in analytics, advertising or data-layer events.

Third-party privacy information

Managing preferences

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also manage your consent preferences at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of this website. Withdrawing consent stops future non-essential tracking but does not undo processing already performed. For more information on managing cookies, visit aboutcookies.org.

International transfers

Some third-party providers may process technical information outside the UK. Appropriate safeguards are relied upon where required, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved Standard Contractual Clauses, or other legally recognised transfer safeguards. We do not claim a particular safeguard is used unless it is supported by the relevant provider’s terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page. If we introduce new non-essential technology, we will update this policy and ask for fresh consent where required.
